The aviation industry is one of the most important industries considering the modernization and quick pace of the current world. Vocational engineering schools occupy a very important role in aviation industry as operations in most of basic technologies rely on the training given by the school. The vocational engineering schools provide high-quality technical personnel which helps the manufacturers overcome the difficulties in production. Since most universities are especially for science and technology, the students are required to get on-hand technical practical skills to thrive in aviation industry. The development of skilled aviation personnel must start from the students at engineering school. In addition to the technical skills, the personnel must also have both theoretical and analytical skills. The current research is a study of an internship based on certain parameters from students of National Formosa University Aeronautical Engineering (NFUAE). The students have gone for off-campus internships at Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp. (EGAT) from 2019 to 2021. The students would be entering EGAT for practical internships in the last semester of their senior year in order to improve their technical skills and increase their understanding of the workplace environment. The students would get aquatinted with the corporate world and get work experience simultaneously. The internship has been very helpful as the duration between the graduation and getting an employment becomes much shorter and also helps the students to be more compatible with the company. The analysis in the current research has been done based upon survey of various parameters done on the students. Interviews were done to assess the internship content satisfaction and the average value of satisfaction was 4.0. Combined with the satisfaction of students, core competence, correlation between core competency and internship satisfaction have also been analyzed. The analysis show that the internship satisfaction increased and the core competency of students would also be improved.
