Dea Malela International Islamic Boarding School is an international educational institution consisting of 320 students, female students, and teachers, at Pemangong Village, Lenangguar, Sumbawa Besar, West Nusa Tenggara. A large amount of people there leads to the high daily need for water. They need better water resources for running their life or construction project. The boarding school has only four wells which are contradictory to its water necessity. Hence, the goal is to determine the lithological condition below the surface and obtain the groundwater resource. It includes the study of aquifer depth, subsurface lithology, and distribution of aquifer layers. Groundwater availability was determined by observation using a geoelectrical method of Schlumberger configuration in measuring 8 points of GL1, GL2, GL3, GL4, GL5, GL6, GL7, and GL8 in the research area. Also, a geological mapping was implemented to know the surface lithology and geomorphology. Lithostratigraphical and hydrostratigraphic correlations were done to get the aquifer distribution. As a result, the area consists of tuffaceous sandstone, tuff, and breccias. The Interpretation shows that there are two types of aquifer obtained: unconfined and confined aquifer.
