The application of a one-way system with contra-flow bus lane (CFBL) gives priority to Batik Solo Trans (BST) public transport in order to provide reliable service. The existence of CFBL facility at signalized intersection is often used by private vehicles from the opposite direction, so that it is very dangerous in terms of driver safety. This study aims to determine the characteristics of traffic violations at CFBL facility and efforts to control traffic violations using internet of think technology. Traffic violations characteristics data were obtained from a 15-hour field survey at the Sriwedari, Ngapeman and Nonongan Intersections. The results showed that the number of traffic violations at the Sriwedari, Ngapeman and Nonongan Intersections were 5004 vehicles, 3555 vehicles, 7314 vehicles, respectively. Efforts to minimize traffic violations by means of marking, signage, signal timing of traffic light and law enforcement system. The use of the BusetLaw Traffic application has the potential as a tool in supporting legal prosecution for traffic offenders.
