Energy is the other side of the non-living creatures of the universe. Inanimate objects by their nature are unable to change their state without an external influence, and one of this external influence is green architecture, as it contributes to the preservation of vital systems as a result of the adoption of natural and renewable energies in their applications, which reduces Green House Gas GHG emissions and thus pollution. Accordingly, the research problem was represented by the following: (There is a lack of knowledge about green architecture applications in Iraq, principles and its standards to reach an architectural product that supports the quality and continuity of life), The aim of the research was to Invest renewable energies in green architecture applications. The research approach is divided into three axes: the first of which clarifies the materials and methods, and the second focuses on presenting and discussing the results through two main vocabulary: principles of green architecture and standards for green buildings, As the measurement was done through three projects, namely: "Masdar City, California Academy of Sciences and university of technology" , while the third clarifies conclusions that explained: "necessity of adopting an architectural thought concerned with investing in renewable energy as major variables in the formulation of the architectural structure and that respects all ecosystems and the needs of building occupants.
