The article presents the theoretical foundations, purpose, objectives and practical aspect of design technologies. The prerequisites for rethinking the elements of didactics for natural-scientific disciplines block of technical field are noted. It is shown the theoretical significance and practical orientation of the developed author’s technology, focused on the formation of professional competencies elements in the project activities of junior students in the discipline “Higher Mathematics”. Technology model of dynamic educational research projects is presented, the purpose, psychological and pedagogical aspects, subjects and content description are determined. The results confirm the effectiveness and potential of the author’s design technology, supported by information means. The advantages and risks of organizing educational cooperation, the possibility of additional motivation in achieving the educational goal are revealed. Recommendations for the practical application of the presented technology are formulated. The author’s experience in the implementation of design technologies in higher mathematics course is analyzed and summarized. The presented technology can be used in teaching practice, in research to improve the educational process.
