It is unavoidable that the industry is in need of more green factors; green technology, green energy, etc. To this relation, green tourism industry is also relevant for sustainable development. This includes green transportation, green (cash-less) and mobile-based applications, green and mobile-based based accommodation reservation applications, and so on. This paper seeks to identify green industry, particularly green tourism industry. Several phases of tourism such as marketing, implementation, and evaluation were thoroughly identified and analyzed. It has been revealed that in terms of marketing, social media platforms applicable in Android-based, iOS-based, and Windows-based devices are the most effective tool to promote sustainable development. However, it is also implied that the marketing and promotion should include local identity, authenticity, and uniqueness of the promoted tourism sites or destinations.
