One of the most important factors in electrospinning is process parameters: voltage, flow rate and collector. These parameters influence fiber diameter and its uniform. This research investigates the influence of various parameter on diameter and uniform of fiber. The raw material in precursor solution was styrofoam. Styrofoam solution with 20% concentration was carried out by dissolving dimethylformamide (DMF) and d-limonen with 1:1 ratio. The process parameters were varied: 7 – 15 kV (voltage), 15 – 30 µL/minute (flow rate) and needle-tip-to-collector distance from 5 – 20 cm. The optical microscope shows that fiber diameter by varying voltage, flow rate and needle-tip-to-collector distance are 0.82 – 2.27 µm, 0.74 – 1.49 µm and 0.94 – 1.45 µm respectively. These parameters reveal that fiber diameters are uniform which coefficient of variation is less than 3.
