This research aims at prospective civic education teachers’ attitudes toward the digital learning environment in Indonesia. This attempt is one way of understanding prospective teachers’ readiness for the workplace in the future. This study employs an e-research approach with a snowballing technique for data collection and distributes the questionnaires. The data was analyzed using qualitative content analysis. There were 178 students from the department of Pancasila and civic education across Indonesia who participated in the study. The study’s findings demonstrated that these prospective civic education teachers were confident enough to carry out tasks in a digital learning environment. This study suggests conducting additional regional searches to collect more context-specific information in order to promote diversity. Since the digital learning environment for pre-service civic teachers is an important issue, this work gives a contribution to developing the teacher education curriculum in Indonesia.
