The museum as an institution that provides and conveys information to the public needs to be supported by the efforts of the museum manager itself. Efforts to increase the existence of the museum can be done by promoting it through various kinds of information media that are trending in the community. Museum promotion activities can take advantage of the existence of various platforms in collaboration with proper content management. However, this is not as easy as it seems due to the fact that there are still many museums that do not or do not even have a website for their promotional purposes. This study aims to design and develop a museum information system for promotional purposes as an alternative solution to help museums that do not or do not even have a website. The method used in this research is Design & Development with data collection using questionnaires and interviews, and participant web practitioners (ICT experts) for product expert judgment purposes. Data analysis was done by descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that there are still many things that need to be improved on the product, especially in the aspects of usability, website navigation system, loading time, functionality, and accessibility, so that in the development process improvements are made before it is finally published.
