Rotary forcespinning is a tool for making nanofibers that has recently received attention due to its ability to produce fibers at high production rates. In addition, various forms of material preparations both in the form of melt and solution can be used in this technique. To produce fiber, this rotary forcespinning technique utilizes the centrifugal force that comes from the high-speed and high-torque rotation of the motor. In this study, the manufacture of filter membranes from styrofoam waste using the rotary forcespinning technique was made by collecting fibers produced by rotary forcespinning which were then optimized with thicknesses of 0.35 mm, 0.75 mm, 1.20 mm. Furthermore, a flux test was carried out on each thickness, so that a good flux was obtained at a thickness of 0.35 mm and an average efficiency of 94%.
