This study aims to 1) produce a digital science magazine that is worthy of being used as a learning medium for students on global warming concept, 2) to find out the increase in the ability of scientific argumentation and character of students after using digital science magazines on global warming concept. The method used in this research is a development research method with ADDIE design (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that 1) digital science magazines are appropriate to be used as learning media on global warming concept with an average validity value of 89.2 and are in the good category, 2) the use of digital science magazines on global warming concepts can improve the ability students’ scientific arguments significantly with an average n-gain value of 0.434 and are in the medium category, as well as the character of students who are entrenched. The results of this study indicate that digital science magazines are appropriate to be used as learning media and are able to improve scientific argumentation skills and cultivate students’ character in global warming concept.
