This study was conducted to analyze learning difficulties in algebraic concepts in terms of students’ learning styles. The difficulties experienced by students include understanding algebraic concepts, writing translations and simplifying algebraic forms of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through case studies in junior high schools with 10 respondents as research subjects. The data collection techniques used tests, documentation, questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of the learning style questionnaire, there were 4 respondents with kinesthetic learning styles, 3 respondents with visual styles and 3 respondents with auditory styles. The results showed that students with Kinesthetic and visual learning styles had difficulty understanding the concept of Algebra, while students with Auditory learning styles had difficulties in describing and simplifying algebraic forms.
