Learning style is an important thing that needs to be considered in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning styles of prospective mathematics teacher students and their tendencies in preparing learning tools. This research is qualitative research with data analysis using interactive analysis according to Miles and Huberman. The steps in analyzing are data reduction, data display and concluding. Data was collected using documentation, questionnaires and interviews. The learning style studied in this study is the learning style according to Barbe (visual, auditory and kinesthetic/VAK). The results show that students’ learning styles are more visual. This shows that students as prospective teachers will prepare more visual devices for their students.
