The results of the conducted research show that the total number of avalanches in the mountains of Uzbekistan during the winter is tens of thousands. The most important thing is to take into account the avalanche danger for the objects of the national and water economy of the Tashkent region, which cause great damage to the economy of the republic.

The main purpose of the research is:

Assessment of the degree of danger and possible damage from avalanches in the Tashkent region. The goal pursued was to solve the problems, which boil down to the following:

  • Analysis of avalanche hazard of the region under consideration

  • Drawing up digital maps on avalanche hazard of Tashkent region

  • Systematization and compilation of a methodology for calculating the assessment of avalanche hazard

  • Determination of destructive force and pressure from avalanches.

Based on the research, the state of avalanche danger in the Tashkent region was analyzed

Based on the results of the expedition of the Uzhydromet laboratory, digital avalanche hazard maps of the Tashkent region were created.

The main parameters of avalanches in the Tashkent region in the Bostanlyk region were determined according to the compiled calculation method.

In the Tashkent region in the Bostanlyk region, three characteristic zones of the formation of dangerous avalanches with avalanche-active areas were selected: S1=1110m2, S2=2540m2, S3=174 m2.
