This study aims to describe the importance of teaching by involving digital technology. The research method used is a quantitative one pre-test-post-test class approach with the subject of 24 Junior High School (SMP) A students in South Tangerang (Banten, Indonesia) and two science teachers who use the Science Education Adaptive Learning System (ScEd-ALS) application based on learning styles. The research instruments used were tests, questionnaires, interviews, and observation sheets. The results showed that ScEd-ALS could be applied in science learning on motion and simple machine materials in junior high schools and strengthen students’ conceptual understanding. The variety of stimuli provided in the application helps teachers in creating science learning in the classroom. The use of digital technology applications in science learning shows that the concept of digital pedagogy as teaching materials or learning resources is an integral part of the reform of science learning, especially those that are individualistic.
