Various efforts to develop learning media have been carried out during online learning in the Covid-19 pandemic, including the development of video presentations. This study aims to determine learning technology skills and collaboration in developing learning videos in the Animal Taxonomy course. This study employs the qualitative research method conducted within one semester in 2021 at the Biology Education Study Program of IAIN Kudus. The samples consisted of 21 students. The results showed that students had begun to recognize various applications in making and presenting videos, such as Kine Master, Screen Recorder, Inshot, and Bandicam. It was interesting because the students could create collaborative presentations between group members by giving the role of each individual in video presentations. Most of the students’ skills in making the learning videos were in the high category, although a few students had difficulties. Most students collaborated in making PowerPoint slides and learning videos. The video presentations by other groups provided understanding during the online learning, which mostly provided sufficient responses. Therefore, guidance, mentoring, and feedback during the presentations were needed. Taxonomy learning activities using learning videos introduces new habits in utilizing learning technology for presentation activities and encourages collaboration among students.
