Teaching and learning activities in formal educational institutions should meet the requirements to optimize the three educational domains: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Many factors are needed to support this achievement: innovative teaching materials and appropriate learning approaches. This research’s problem formulations are how to develop, how are the results of validations, and students’ responses on E-module with a Flip Builder based on science process skills on light materials for the fifth-graders science class of Islamic elementary schools (MI/SD). This research is a Research and Development using the development model by Borg and Gall that Sugiyono has modified. The model consists of seven stages: potential and problems, information gathering, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The subjects of this research were all fifth-grade students at SDN 02 Tanjung Baru, MI Miftahul Anwar Gunung Baru, and SDN 03 Tanjung Baru. The results of material experts validation were 90.16%, media experts validation was 78.08%, and language experts validation was 85.83%. The students’ responses on the small-scale trials were 92.33%, 91.33%, 90.66%. Furthermore, the students’ responses in the large-scale trials were 91.56%, 82.39%, 90.12%.
