The world is currently facing the Covid-19 pandemic. As an anticipatory measure, temperature screening needs to be placed at the entry point of public locations. In addition to facilitating the tracing process, if there are positive confirmed cases of Covid-19, recording people who enter the venue is necessary. This study designed a prototype for face recording and body temperature measurement. This prototype uses two primary sensors and two support sensors. The primary sensors are ESP32-CAM for recording visitors’ faces and MLX90614 for temperature measurement. Meanwhile, the support sensors are the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 in.the circuit box for measuring the precise distance of visitors for face and temperature recording and a light-dependent resistor (LDR) sensor outside the box for detecting the presence of visitors. For control, NodeMCU ESP8266 and internal microcontroller ESP32-CAM are used. The software used to design the program includes XAMPP, Sublime text, Arduino IDE 1.8.13 software, and the additional UniversalTelegramBot library. Temperature and face capture data sent to the user’s Telegram Messenger and MySQL database. The prototype is also equipped with body temperature screening. If the temperature is>37.2 ℃, visitors are not allowed to enter the venue, and there are warning messages via buzzers and Telegram Messenger users. All data have been successfully sent without any problems and following the program flow.
