Cocoa is one of Indonesia's leading export agricultural commodities. The cocoa market has great potential, which can be seen from the increase in world consumption so that Indonesia is expected to take advantage of the current opportunities. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the performance and competitiveness of Indonesia's cocoa bean trade compared to other producing countries in the International market. This research uses Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Trade Specialization Index (TSI), Acceleration Ratio (AR), and Export Competitiveness Index (ECI). This study uses 2010 – 2019 from six cocoa-producing countries (Ivory Coast, Ghana, Indonesia, Nigeria, Ecuador, and Cameroon). The results showed that Indonesia has a comparative advantage as an exporter of cocoa beans in the International market. The results showed that the RCA index of Indonesian cocoa is larger than 1, meaning that the competitiveness of Indonesian cocoa is above the world average, the average ECI value is more than 1, meaning that the State of Indonesia can compete competitively with its rival countries. The value of the TSI is close to 0.5 on average, indicating that Indonesia is experiencing a decline in the export growth stage.
