Advancements in knowledge, technology and network encourage more people to adopt latest gazette such as mobile phone and make the mobile phone as the accessories in the lifestyle especially millennial generation. They prefer good network coverage better than a good meal. This paper explored how mobile learning approach can enhance engagement skills among tertiary students and employed action research methodology. In this approach, mobile learning application such as kahoot! E-exercises and e-quizzes adoption of mobile learning during lecture and outside lectures activities for discussions. The effectiveness outcome via the mobile learning adoption with the findings showed those students’ engagement skills. Students had active learning opportunity where effective interaction happens among students and with the lecturer in wherever and whenever you want. This paper heightens lecturer awareness in identifying the learning tasks via mobile learning that are well developed. The students felt that by using Mobile Learning platform like chatroom and forum, they can enhance their engagement skills thus helping them to complete their group project in tertiary education. This may further be a motivating factor to adopt measures and new strategies for the improvement of students’ skills. Various exciting findings are students generally enjoyed using the Mobile learning and students’ level of enjoyment of using the Mobile learning technology was correlated with perceived success of learning. Further determination whether using the application caused improvements in learning outcome such as better engagement. Statistics revealed a higher engagement rate when courses are delivered using the mobile learning among the students.
