Mathematics material, in general, is abstract and difficult for mathematics education students who will later become mathematics teachers. Therefore, learning with ethnomathematics is a first step in facilitating mathematics learning for students. This, of course, will be adopted by these students when they become professional mathematics teachers. Mathematics education students are able to raise local cultural values that can be developed into mathematics material. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is also an important thing that needs to be adapted in the field of education, if the education sector cannot adapt well, then the educational aspect will be left behind. The right learning in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is the application of online learning that is not limited by space and time. Learning can be done at any time, and the form of evaluation can be controlled periodically so that it still meets the assessment rules that can be carried out in a transparent and accountable manner. Combining ethnomathematics and online learning is very necessary, considering that learning is increasingly complex and has its own challenges. Ethnomathematics packaged in online learning will be able to maximize the achievement of the planned learning objectives.
