In agriculture, an electric fence is used as one of the methods to protect the food crops, especially from wild animals. Wild animals such as monkeys will cause immense damage and losses of farmers’ food crops if the fence is a malfunction. Therefore, this paper develops an agriculture electric fence monitoring and notification system using Blynk application that allows farmers to observe the status of the fence from their phones. In this work, a voltage sensor is introduced to measure the battery’s voltage whilst a continuous current supply is assured by detecting the level of the battery via the sensor. Blynk application is utilised in this work as a platform to notify the farmers via their phones. The initial findings show that the proposed system capable of notifying the farmer when there is no voltage detected on the battery. Nonetheless, this system allows the farmer to monitor battery status, promoting hassle-free farm supervision remotely.
