Pharmaceutical waste consists of left over drugs, OTC personal care items, and occasionally accessories like sharps, discarded test strips, and other equipment. It's a matter for worry since it puts human and environmental health at risk. Pharmaceutical trash, whether from a hospital, clinic, pharmacy, or private residence, cannot be disposed of like regular waste due to the risks and requires specific management. The handling of pharmaceutical waste raises a number of issues. In this study we discussed waste kinds,Pharmaceuticals routes of entry into the environment, classification of biomedical waste, pharmaceutical waste treatment. There's also a chance that improperly managed trash will find up in the hands of persons who will abuse the drugs. It‟s important to be aware of the unique dangers of the waste product, as well as the capacity of a given disposal strategy to control them, in order to properly finger and dispose of trash.
