The article provides a generalized mathematical model of a pumping unit for electric machine irrigation systems based on the criterion of the specific consumption of electrical energy for supplying a unit of water volume to the irrigation network. In this regard, in our opinion, it is advisable as a criterion for assessing the efficiency of the pumping unit of electric machine irrigation systems to select the specific consumption of electrical energy for supplying a unit volume of water to the pressure network while ensuring coverage of the required schedule of water consumption, which makes it possible to develop an appropriate generalized mathematical model of the pumping unit … As an object of research, the modes of operation of a frequency-controlled electric drive of the pumping unit of the Ramadan pumping station are considered. The influence of changes in the rotation frequency of pumping units operating on common and own pressure pipelines of the Ramadan pumping station on its pressure, consumption and specific power consumption is calculated.
