Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a type of advanced business process software that enables businesses that rely heavily on exchanging important and high-quality data to carry out their daily operations and long-term goals. Choosing the correct supply chain or business management software has become critical for a company’s success. Due to economic globalization and internationalization, software such as ERP has become increasingly crucial in integrating suppliers, partners, and customers within and across national borders and achieving integrated supply chains in recent years. The use of information technologies and systems such as ERP systems helps achieve the necessary integration degree. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) installation projects entail complicated procedures that impact a company’s operations and performance. For ERP installation initiatives, identifying the critical success factors is vital. Industry 4.0 is now a new reality of the modern economy, and old industrial processes will alter, including Enterprise Resource Planning. New technologies such as the Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, and Big Data are introduced into manufacturing.
