At present, too many questions arise regarding the assessment of student and educational outcomes. Educational assessment in the country today focuses more on the academic achievement of students which ignores other developments. Based on the findings of the Board of School Inspectors, it was found that the Malaysian Education Quality Standards in most schools still do not practice sustainable leadership, resulting in the failure of student outcomes as intended through the National Education Philosophy. This is evident when the country is burdened with issues such as low thinking skills, moral collapse among adolescents, lacking of soft skills and so on. The issue of measuring student outcome is a hotly debated issue but lacks evidence from an empirical point of view. Based on research on previous studies, it is found that there is still a lack of studies to measure student outcome. Therefore, a study to form a profile of student outcome indicator based on Ibn Miskawaih’s theory of thinking, especially in the aspect of Al Hikmah should be conducted. Quantitative method with descriptive survey study design through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents was used. A total of 209 Form 4 students were selected from 7 schools in the state of Perlis. Based on the al-Hikmah factor, the four factors that are suitable for use are intelligence, memory, rationality and smart. As a result of exploratory factor analysis (EFA), it was found that al-Hikmah factors have been successfully discovered and are suitable for use.
