It is proposed to approximate data from differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) at different rates of temperature change by two-dimensional cubic splines to consider distribution evolution of crystallinity degree of polymer material when modeling thermal process of welding polymer pipes. Formulas are obtained for determining the change in time of crystallinity degree at each point of test compound according to function of DSC heat flux for variable rate of temperature change. Results of calculations of thermal regime of polyethylene pipes welding are presented.
