Jaundice is a baby patient who has health problems with high levels of bilirubin in his body. This condition makes the body part yellow. This condition is also known as jaundice, which is where the baby needs to be treated immediately to bring down the normal bilirubin levels. Babies suffering from hyperbilirubinemia should be treated with the help of phototherapy treatment. This therapy should be carried out until the level of bilirubin in the body of the icterus has decreased. The research aims to design therapeutic tools by implementing the internet of medical things technology to improve the safety of icterus patients treated with blue light therapy. Implementation of this technology can affect the efficiency and effectiveness of health workers in monitoring and time setting. This research uses various components with cloud systems. This phototherapy system uses ESP as a microcontroller connecting IoT with an LM35 sensor that measures temperature while being treated. Then the LED is used to display the current temperature of the baby who is undergoing therapy. The buzzer sounds if the phototherapy temperature reaches more than 38˚C. Because the temperature is the maximum limit in phototherapy treatment for jaundice, monitoring this system is done using the android system. This step makes it easier for health workers to monitor temperature developments so that therapeutic accidents do not occur and increase patient safety.
