Assessment is closely related to evaluation. Assessment in the world of education is important to do to determine the quality of education in schools. The quality of education and learning in schools will be seen with the assessment. The Independent Learning Policy focuses on assessing school quality, through three competencies, namely the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), Character Survey (SK), and Learning Environment Survey (SLB). The assessment carried out will be input for each school to improve its quality. Teachers must be prepared to face the Freedom of Learning policy. One of them is by training teachers in making assessment instruments. The instrument made focuses on AKM numeracy literacy. The purpose of the activity is how the results of developing numeracy literacy AKM questions for mathematics teachers at the SMP/MTs level are. The subject of the training was MGMP mathematics at the SMP/MTs level in Bantul Regency. The results of the activity showed: (1) about 28.57% of the workshop participants who submitted their assignments correctly in making the AKM numeracy literacy questions, both in terms of making grids and in developing questions; (2) as many as 6 people experienced errors in determining the context; (3) only three people were asked to revise related to the editorial.
