This study aimed to get the effectiveness value of using multimedia for the online practicum of land measurement techniques at vocational high schools. The research method used research and development which consist of three stages, namely: Planning, Design, and Development. The development stages used a quasi-experimental study conducted in one of the vocational high schools in the tenth grade located in Surakarta, Indonesia. The results of the study obtained a significant value on the difference in learning outcomes. The difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental class obtained an increase (gain) than the control class. Based on the difference in the mean, the treatment using multimedia has a significant impact on improving student learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of multimedia can be an alternative learning media for online practicum on land surveying techniques in vocational high schools.
