This paper describes the development of a mathematical model for the control system of a small-sized crawler felling machine for forest thinning. The substantiation of the choice of the section connection diagram is made, the analysis of the resistance to rotation loads is carried out and the forces arising in the hydraulic cylinders are determined. On the basis of the data obtained, a mathematical model of the control system of a two-link tracked feller was developed.
