The structural strength of an automobile gantry self-loader is analyzed in order to ensure the compactness of the spatial geometric solution. The layout solution for placing the portal loader on the cargo platform of the vehicle is presented. A mathematical model of static loading of the lifting structure has been compiled. The correctness of the results of solving the mathematical model is assessed by strength analysis using the finite element method (FEM) of the frame bar model, compiled in CAD/CAE Workstation WinMachine. The rational properties of the frame tube profile are described.
