Many methods of polygonal modeling are known. But not a single complete study has been carried out in order to identify the most profitable method for each industry sector. This paper is devoted to the consideration of the problem associated with assessing the effectiveness of using various methods in three-dimensional modeling of objects. The description of the used modeling methods is given. The analysis of parameters that affect the effectiveness of modeling is given. The methods used for assessing the effectiveness are given. A description of a distributed computing system is given, in which the analyzed parameters are collected. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the methods used are presented.
