Quality management at machine-building enterprises in accordance with the requirements of the international standards of quality systems ISO 9001 should be carried out by developing a description of the processes of production organization in the standards of the enterprise. The effective functioning of the process approach is ensured by the development of quality management methods that allow you to quickly respond to deviations in processes and maintain defect statistics. On the basis of the process modeling methodology, a general scheme of the "Production" process is constructed, in which incoming and outgoing objects, products and resources are specified. The scheme of interaction of the main processes of the quality management system of the repair company is developed, the incoming and outgoing flows are defined and identified, the incoming and outgoing elements are described, the goals, the beginning and the end of these processes are defined. The issues of the process approach in the development of the register of top-level QMS processes for machine-building enterprises are considered. A list of standards for the main processes and procedures has been developed. It is recommended to evaluate the effectiveness of the functioning of the elements of the quality management system when implementing the process approach using a comprehensive methodology that allows you to calculate individual and total relative indicators. Using the example of the "Production" process, the application of the proposed methodology is considered by calculating the assessment of the quality and efficiency of the process.
