The mathematical dependence of the size of the cutting feed of the grinding wheel on the parameters of the working zone of processing is obtained. An analytical determination of the depth of cut was carried out for plunge-cut centerless grinding of workpieces. The obtained dependencies are necessary to select the correct relationships between the parameters of the mode of this process and will make it possible to develop a computer-aided design (CAD) system for centerless grinding operations. The use of the proposed dependencies in the CAD system in preparation for production will make it possible to abandon the complex, time-consuming and expensive adjustment of centerless grinding machines and will make it possible to use this high-performance process in batch production conditions.
