Algorithm for calculating doses in the internal organs of a realistic rat model

According to the accepted model, Monte Carlo technique (the MCNP code) was used to calculate the radiation dose in the critical organs of the rat with “hot” particles located in different parts of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT). The characteristics of the particles are obtained from the calculation of the metabolism according to the laboratory models. The results are in satisfactory agreement with the field measurements and the old estimates confirmed by the experiment.
