The coronavirus pandemic and the associated school closure have had a very significant impact on education in virtually all types of schools. In my paper, I will try to collect and summarize the views of physics teachers in the Czech Republic involved in the Heureka project on the negative consequences of the transition to online education. However, I would also like to focus on whether they consider some of what they and their students have experienced to be a challenge or a chance for further development. I also wanted to find out from the teachers what they want to keep in full-time teaching from what they have learned in connection with distance learning.
