Any shot is a complex physical and mechanical process, which is influenced by many factors. The first and main group of such factors is intraballistic processes. At the moment, it is impossible to fully determine all the equations and coefficients acting on the value of the intraballistic pressure. This problem is one of the priorities in solving polygon-measuring tasks. Since the firing process begins with the initiation of the explosive in the shell case, it is important to know the distribution of the powder inside the case to take into account all cavities and seals that affect the formation of pressure in the barrel bore. The paper focuses on the vibration load impact on the formed powder charge consisting of granulated powder elements. The purpose of the study is to develop a model that takes into account the compaction of the powder charge and the mixing of the powder elements under the action of vibration loads.
