Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcasts (ADS-B) is the one of used technology for improving aviation safety that ADSB technology is used to control the flight transmitting information about flight states especially flight identity periodically transmitted. Microstrip patch antenna is designed to receive ADSB frequency that frequency resonates at 1.09 GHz. Microstrip patch antenna substrate is Epoxy (FR4), substrate dielectric constant (εr) is about 4.4, substrate thickness is 1.6 mm and substrate lost tangent is 0.02. Microstrip patch antenna Substrate dimension designed for ADS-B receiver is 137x130 mm, patch antenna dimension is 73x65 mm and inset feeder length is 5 mm. Simulation result is 1.1560 for its VSWR at minimum frequency 1.096 GHz. For measurement result, VSWR is 1.0933 at 1.096 GHz. Acording to simulation and measurement result, Microstrip antenna is proper to used for ADS-B receiver antenna alternating Indonesian Airport.
