This paper presents the stress analysis results of selected concepts of an actuator model using alloys made of shape memory materials. The main idea of the actuator is to generate a torque under the influence of the applied voltage, which increases the temperature and causes deformation of the material, making it possible to change the shape of the element with the embedded actuator. The research will involve creating models of the different actuator versions and carrying out analysis using computer-aided design software. An important part of the research will also involve defining how to fix the actuators in order to generate torque at the correct location. As a result, the best solution will be identified and the advantages and disadvantages of the models analysed will be determined.
