Vietnam has an advance logistics system and plays the most important role in the Southern key economic zone as well as in the whole country. In the current period of international economic integration, it is necessary for HCMC to rapidly formulate a program for the development of Logistics into a key economic industry,… Therefore, Ho Chi Minh City has oriented specific goals for the period of 2026 - 2030, including (1) The average growth rates of total retail sales of goods and revenue of consumption services in the period of 2026 - 2030 reach 6.82% to 9.06% per year; and 2) Striving that until 2030, the proportion of logistics services in GRDP will reach around 15%, the proportion of outsourced logistics services will be approximately 65%, contributing to the reduction to 15% - 17% of logistics costs of the whole economy compared to GDP …. This study focuses on the assessment of current situation, analysis of factors affecting Electronic logistics (E-logistics), thereby proposing strategic solutions for E-logistics of Ho Chi Minh City.
