Chamber models are wildly used for a screw vacuum pump capacity calculation. Those models allow to take into account a lot of factors which have great influence on the vacuum pump capacity, vacuum and working power. The first stage of chamber models’ development is a mathematic description of vacuum pump chamber geometrical parameters. This paper presents the mathematic description of time-depending vacuum pump chamber geometrical parameters, such as chamber volume, areas of suction and discharge ports, gaps parameters, which the gas leakage goes through.
