A synthesis strategy for the structural analogue of archaea lipids based on the functionalization of N,N-dimethylaminoglycerol with geraniol fragments has been proposed and implemented. The study of the membranotropic properties of the synthesized meroterpenoid on model (DPPC) vesicles by turbidimetry and Doppler laser electrophoresis showed that meroterpenoid causes a linear decrease in the phase transition temperature of the vesicles and a change of the ζ-potential of the vesicles depending on the substance/lipid ratio. The ability of the synthesized compound to spontaneously integrate into DPPC model membranes was unambiguously established.
