The paper presents a study of the parameters of the angular stabilization circuit with relay actuators using MATLAB Simulink numerical simulation tools, which implements the principles of visually-oriented programming. This paper demonstrates the convenience of creating a model of a roll stabilization system in the MATLAB Simulink. This model is quite comprehensible and suitable for analysis, which not only simplifies the process of stabilization system synthesis but also allows performing the task with high efficiency. The roll stabilization system layout, presented as a relay system with all its advantages and disadvantages, is considered. During the analysis of such systems in MATLAB Simulink, it is possible to track the limit modes in such systems, determine the conditions for the self-oscillation occurrence, and assess the sliding mode quality. Advanced features of MATLAB Simulink allow not only to create a model and perform simulations but also to conduct large-format research aimed at improving both the structure of the stabilization system itself and the choice of its optimal parameters.
