Javanese people have their own views in understanding the universe that forms their identity, called Javanese cosmology. Values in Javanese cosmological views are expressed in every aspect of their lives. Through the spatial organization, the harmony of these values can be seen in Javanese traditional houses and ceremonies performed therein. The ceremonies are related to Javanese people life cycle; from birth, wedding, life attainment, to funeral. Almost every ceremony that performed is accompanied by shadow puppet performances as a symbol of Javanese life, so that the relationship between its spatial organization and Javanese traditional houses cannot be separated. This study reveals knowledge of shadow puppet performance spatial organization and its connection Javanese cosmology applied in Javanese traditional houses. So that from it connection can be seen the sustainability of Javanese traditional houses in terms of accommodating their natural and socio-culture, by their cosmology as the source. This research was conducted by using qualitative and synthesis analysis from theories, also direct observation to Javanese society Yogyakarta to obtain valid data.
