Eco-friendly magnetic activated carbon samples were prepared by two methods and identified with spectral (FTIR, XRD, and AFM) techniques. XRD and AFM results of the prepared magnetic composites showed crystallite size with nano-scale property. Several resulted magnetic samples were tested as non-hemolytic materials with non-smoker blood sample with different weights. The effect of weight on variation of hemolysis percentage through raising of sample absorbance (S) values that determined by UV-VIS technique was evaluated.
