In this review, we notified the synthesis of (Cu, Ni) doped ZnO-nanoparticles (NPs) as a nanopowder of (NixCu0.2-x Zn0.8 O) compound with different molar concentrations of Cu and Ni ions. The NPs were synthesized by the sol-gel auto - combustion technique from metal nitrate as a precursor and citric acid. The effect of replacing Zn ion by (Cu and Ni) on the crystal structure and morphological of (NixCu0.2-x Zn0.8 O) NPs were studied in this paper. These nanopowders were synthesized by the auto combustion method. (NixCu0.2-x Zn0.8 O) nanoparticles were investigated by X-ray, FESEM, and EDX spectroscopy. The average crystallite size of the (NixCu0.2-x Zn0.8 O) NPs using X-ray and FESEM was within the ranges of nanoscale. Furthermore, the EDX confirms the presence of all elements of the compound. The (XRD) patterns indicate that all prepared nanostructures exhibited a hexagonal (wurtzite) structure.
