This review reported the various synthesis method used for intercalation of nanohybrid materials which is Calcium-Aluminium Layered Double Hydroxide (Ca-Al LDH). The nanocomposites are well built multiphase-materials of one or more dissimilar phases of dimensional between less to 100 nm range repetitively. LDH has a significant and unique shape due to its structure is quite robust with a wide range of possible composites by positively charged brucite- like sheets of hydroxides intercalated by negatively charged anion in the hydrated interlayer regions mainly found in mineral materials. The method such co-precipitation, hydrothermal, and mechanochemical are widely used from previous study for intercalation of calcium and aluminium into multilayers of LDH. The samples are prepared for characterization by using Powdered X-Ray Diffraction (PXRD). Each method shows great results, but co-precipitation is the best and one of the latest methods used for the synthesis.
