PCM system telemetry is the most widespread system in the field of aerospace telemetry in the day, it is a kind of telemetry system which is widely used in the current space telemetry. In this paper, real-time IMU sensor data transmission through Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) concept based on telemetry design is proposed. Telemetry using smartphone IMU sensor real-time data which is using Xbee radio has been carried out. Xbee radio which acts as a transmitter is connected to a smartphone using OTG. While the Xbee Radio which acts as a receiver is connected to the PC. Data transmission uses the PCM format where data is sent in the form of a combination of high and low signals with a certain resolution. The test result proves that real-time IMU sensor data transmission through the PCM concept based on telemetry design was successfully carried out without any data losses.
