One of the Air Traffic Management (ATM) simulator critical elements is the aircraft kinematics performance model because it will significantly affect the characteristics and complexity of the ATM system. One method used to determine the aircraft kinematics model parameters is to extract flight performance parameter data obtained from the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) data. The ADS-B data can be collected from ADS-B open source databases such as FlightRadar24. The flight performance parameters model is developed for take-off, initial climb, climb, descent, and final approach phases for the aircraft kinematics model. This data will then go through data collecting, data pre-processing, and data processing to obtain the best-estimated flight performance parameters to be applied to the ATM simulator aircraft kinematics model. In this paper, the ADS-B data processing step is explained to get the flight parameters for a specific flight phase.
